Mountain Retreat Kodai is located in Kodaikanal, a picturesque hill station 2000 metres above sea level located in the upper Palani Hills. Home to Shola forests, hidden waterfalls and terraced farms, this is a beautiful part of the eastern spur of the Western Ghats: one of the world’s biodiversity hotspots. Shola forests of south India are stunted tropical montane forests, which get their name from the Tamil word சோலை (cōlai).
